Christina Moreira

In her passion to see her community become the best it can be, Christina Moreira has become a strong community advocate for City of Elizabeth. She created a FB group called Elizabeth Parents and Students Care, which she turned into a non-profit and served as the President. Mrs. Moreira serves on the administrative board of Team Interrupters Inc., a local youth mentoring program as well as being and organizer for Save Our Schools NJ.

When she is not advocating for the community, she is busy being a dental hygienist, a wife and a mother to two beautiful young children.

Rafael Nunez

Rafael Nunez is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic who has been a resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey for the past 24 years. As a hardworking taxpayer, he takes pride in contributing to the community and providing for his family, which includes being a dedicated parent of three children who attend public schools. Additionally, he Is a member of a labor union and values the collective power of workers to improve their working conditions and livelihoods. Rafael's journey as an immigrant and commitment to his family and community serve as a testament to his resilience and dedication.
